About this deal

All the Nespresso machines are equipped with a 19-bar pressure pump, which provides the power needed to pierce the film of the capsule and reveal the coffee’s 900 or so different aromas. The shape of the Nespresso capsule has been specially designed to ensure that the pressurised water flows evenly through the ground coffee during extraction. The temperature and flow time are also set to ensure that each precious aroma is expressed. By doing so, you pre-heat your coffee cup and you rinse the extraction system for better coffee experience. As well as a perforated removable drip tray, there’s an internal bin for used pods, so several drinks can be made before it needs emptying. The cable length is average at 33cm but gives a little flexibility as to where it’s positioned.

The Inissia is a tiny machine – 230 x 120 x 321mm (HxWxD). In fact, the Inissia is so tiny that Nespresso even sells a carry bag for it, so you can take great coffee with you everywhere. Even those who can’t see themselves carrying a coffee machine over their shoulder will appreciate just how little counter space the Inissia takes up. The Inissia might have a limited drinks menu, but the coffee it produces is just as good as from other Nespresso machines. It boasts the same maximum 19-bar pressure for its crema, and combined with warm frothy milk from the Aeroccino3, drinks can be tailored to suit. Your machine has now been restored to approximately 1.35 oz. for the espresso cup and 3.75 oz. for the lungo cup

Które elementy ekspresu można myć w zmywarce?

If you’re looking for a capsule-based espresso machine on a tight budget, the Inissia is something of a no brainer. But even if you take price out of the equation, the Inissia is a superb espresso machine that delivers rich, smooth and flavoursome coffee. Place your preferred cup under the spout, then press and hold the cup button you would like to program. Water will begin to flow.

If you own a CitiZ, Pixie, U, Maestria, and Lattissima machine, fill the water tank, eject any capsule in the chamber, close the coffee lever and press the large cup button. Water should begin to flow from the spout. The Inissia delivers a great shot of espresso, with a smooth texture and not a hint of bitterness. Considering its size and price, we expected there to be compromises when it came to the quality of coffee delivered, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. There’s a huge clamping handle that surrounds the body of the machine. Lift this handle up and the capsule caddy opens. Drop the capsule in and clamp the handle down and you’re ready to go. Then simply decide whether you want a short or long shot.

While the shape of the Inissia isn’t the most exciting, one aspect that can’t be faulted is its worktop footprint. It’s tiny when compared to similarly priced machines and at just 12cm wide, there’s no kitchen that would be too small for it to squeeze into. If irregular blinking, please verify that the machine is not in descaling mode (flashing fast and regular). Machine ON, try to exit descaling mode, by pressing both buttons for 3 seconds. The machine should stop blinking. If no light, it means that this machine switches itself OFF automatically after 9 min (factory settings). This time can be changed to 30 min. Learning to use the Inissia is hampered by the instruction booklet – instead of text directions, everything from making coffee to descaling is displayed as diagrams and symbols with a key. The downside of this is that it makes the machine look harder to use than it actually is, but once you’re up to speed with the basics, brewing drinks is straightforward. There are only two buttons to contend with – espresso and lungo, which also serve as on and off – and it’s ready to make coffee in 25 seconds from switching it on. That plastic construction also makes the Inissia quite light (2.4kg), which will appeal to those who want to make use of the carrying bag. Controls

Note: for hard water descale twice per year. (If you don’t know what water type you have hard water tends to leave white marks in the water tank) The drip tray is hinged, so it can be flipped up to make room for large cups. This hinge is worth remembering – a few times during testing, liquid from the drip tray was spilled as it was emptied. The Inissia’s handy energy-saving mode will switch itself off if you forget. If you own an Essenza and Le Cube machine, lift the coffee lever and push it away from you. You can then press either cup button until water starts flowing from the spout. For owners of machines with steam arms (C190, D150, D250, D290, D300, Romeo), please activate the steam/hot water function. The Inissia is available in a few different colours; blue, white and red. It has a rapid heat up time of just 25 seconds which will help keep your mornings efficient. It also switches off automatically after a period of inactivity. This coffee machine can brew one cup at a time. The water tank has a capacity of 0.7 L which is sufficient for up to 2 or 3 cups of coffee. Features such as a water level indicator, status light and automatic capsule ejection make the Krups Nespresso Inissia a user-friendly model all round. More from KrupsUnlike the slightly larger, and older, Pixie Nespresso machine, the Inissia has an all-plastic construction. Don’t think that makes it look cheap, because it doesn’t – the Inissia didn’t look out of place sharing counter space with a KitchenAid mixer and a Sage juicer. While the Inissia represents the first rung on the Nespresso ladder, there’s much to like about it. In fact this compact capsule marvel produces coffee that’s far superior to many larger and more expensive countertop machines. Build quality The Inissia features a 0.7 L tank, accompanied by a capsule collection tray and a single cup station. The dimensions of 32.1x12x23 cm make it compact and easy to transport with its weight of 2.4 kg, perfect for any environment. The maximum power from the machine is 1,260 Watts, while the pressure reaches 19 bars. The equipment also includes the automatic stop function after just 9 minutes, which can be counted among the ecological features, and the adjustable controls useful for setting the desired quantity of coffee. Other Models to Consider As with most Nespresso machines, the Inissia produces espresso with a rich, full crema that hints at the taste awaiting you. You won’t be disappointed in that taste, either.

The Nespresso Inissia is a machine offered by De'Longhi which combines the low price with all the features guaranteed by the premium models. In just a few seconds, useful for inserting the capsule and for the water heating phase (25 seconds), you can in fact enjoy an excellent espresso or a high quality long coffee. The choice of drink is made using the buttons located on the front, clearly identifiable and responsive. Technical Features We were surprised at just how loud the Inissia is when it’s extracting the brown stuff. Given that the Pixie is also very noisy in operation, it would appear that the smaller the Nespresso machine, the louder it is in operation. Despite it’s potential portability this is not a coffee machine you’d want to use on your desk at work. Well not unless you don’t mind annoying everyone else in the office. The espresso cup stand keeps your shot cup at the ideal level for extraction. If you want to use a larger cup, you can fold the stand up against the machine, allowing you to place your cup or mug on the counter while your coffee is delivered. To calculate the average price, we add up the cheapest daily prices of the last 90 days and divide by 90.
