I patted the color on my cheeks with about three light pats, then lightly blended with my fingertips. Despite growing up in SF I sort of came late to the Benetint game( got burned by cute packaging waaay too many times- I’m looking at YOU Dr. seems like such a lot for a stain, but I have found my Benetint to last forever, you only need a small amount of product per application. It won’t get quite as intense as the color looks in the heavier swatch, but the formula is supposed to be sheer and add just a flush to skin.

Plus, it has a new doe foot applicator that glides on lips and follows the natural curve of the cheek. Though it looks rather bright and orange when you initially remove the applicator, it’s a much subtler color when used. As blush, brush a few strokes on the apples of your cheeks and blend with your fingertip (work fast, because it sets up quickly). It looks like a winner but i have to ask you Christine, did you put a gloss on top of your lips or does the product have a natural shine to it? She has a light plus skintone with subtle, warmer yellow undertones ( view her foundation matches here). Ok,so i know i might sound crazy but i had a dream last night that i went on a cruise,and this was all i had in my dream even though i dont even own it yet! If you want to try any of the five in their most natural state, Benefit’s suggested application works well: For fuller-looking lips, start by outlining lips and filling them in and layer for your desired intensity. So, I’ve noticed with Benetint that if you apply it with the brush to your cheeks and don’t IMMEDIATELY blend, it will stain that one spot very quickly.

I had originally thought the Posietint formula was unwearable for me, as something in it makes my lips dry out and even sting a bit if I get too much on… but a couple days ago I tried it with Jack Black lip balm on top and now I think it rocks. They’re minis but they last a long time and are way more affordable :/ I hope this gets released with another one because it’s absolutely GORGEOUS! It wears all day (12 hours) as a soft, peachy flush and really does look natural–just as a stain should. Steamed rose petals apparently were part of the scarlet-colored concoction, which was soon discovered to give cheeks and lips a long-lasting pop of color, too.
