About this deal

Since the SPI bus speed rate is high, so we need a high-speed SD card. (But not all high-speed SD cards are suitable. Normally it requires a c10 SD card with over 4G memory. We recommend two SD cards: OV C10 16g and the Micro SD card)

We can open up the settings menu to change settings such as screen brightness or volume. Method 1  It can be used when it is set to the analog output mode (mode = PWM). Output 0~1023, and decompose 0~3.3V into 1024 ranges of voltage. Parameter: Interactive Learning: Meowbit isn't just for coding. Its built-in display and range of onboard sensors make it a fantastic platform for interactive educational experiences across various subjects, including science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). First we need to be sure that if there's no special setting, Meowbit would run the main.py file once being powered. Thus we only need to put a mian.py program in the SD card. (When the SD card is not detected, the PYBFLASH drive letter of Meowbit is the internal Flash with only 2M storage. When an SD card is inserted and detected, the storage becomes larger.)

Coding the Meowbit

Learn Learn to work with the Kittenbot Meowbit, program the board with custom games and play them when not connected to the computer/internet

note: There are 12 octaves in total from 0 to 130, the multiples that are divisible by 12 are in the key of C.

Educational Institutions: Perfect for coding bootcamps and specialized training centers looking to offer a hands-on, interactive learning experience. Meowbit's diverse range of features makes it an ideal educational tool for students who have a basic understanding of programming concepts. It can be used when it is set to the analog output mode (mode = PWM). Output the PWM duty cycle. It normally is used for controlling servos. The duty cycle in a cycle is calculated to control the angle accurately. Parameter: On the right side, the Reset and Menu/DFU (Device Firmware Update) buttons can be seen. These buttons are used to reset the program and enter the menu, or toggle between firmware (according to the official documentation at least). The coordinates are in the upper left corner of the first character, the default is (0, 0) if it is not set.

color: R, G, and B stand for red, green, and blue respectively. The range is 0~255, which is the standard RGB color value. If left blank, the default is color white, and the brightness value is 255. If you need to use global variables, in addition to defining a global variable in advance, the function also needs to be modified with 'global'

Use (x, y) as the top-left vertex of the rectangle to draw a rectangle with width and height. Parameter:

sensor.startSchedule() # No matter how many interrupt threads you have, you only need execute this line once SD Card Slot (File storage in MicroPython mode, specialized Meow SD Bluetooth module extension in Arcade mode) f.close() # close() is to close and save the file. If there is no close(), the written content may be stored in the buffer, which is equal to your operation failing. The gesture interrupt event. When the set gesture is reached, the custom interrupt function will be executed. Parameter: buzzer.melody(CORRECT) # when playing this melody, press A to execute the operation of stop the buzzer to stop the melody The one purpose I can see the Meowbit excelling at is for educators - gamifying code has been one of the ways to get students hooked into STEM, and the MakeCode Arcade does serve that purpose well. As a console for casual use to play MakeCode Arcade games, the Kittenbot Meowbit is okay in terms of quality - its performance leaves a bit to be desired, but it is still a compact console that doesn’t break the bank to play and code games with. The cat’s out of the bag - this console’s pretty good. ext: The default English character font size is size 1, which is 8*8 pixels. The font size increases with the increase of ext, font size=8*ext. In this review, we’ll explore the Meowbit’s features and its value as a gaming console, as well as an educational tool to teach basic coding to people.
