As a mid-forties mum of two in a long-term LGBTQ relationship, I’m not the demographic for this book, which I stuck with till the bitter end. on top of meeting some great people we were also given the most amazing goody bags and it was such a good time!Oloni’s book is seriously something that everyone should read - both women and men - to empower them with the information they need, not only to have enriched sex lives, but how to do it safely, maturely and with knowledge behind them. For the record, you should probably not pick up this book if you consider yourself judgemental because a few of those entries are a little.

However, anyone younger and struggling to figure out how to take that journey this book is really honest and helpful! Simply Oloni addresses a variety of topics including sexual consent, dating, STIs, abortion, sexual assault and female orgasms with a particular lens on sex education amongst people of colour. One thing I love about my mum, even in all her Nigerianness, is that she has always supported me doing what makes me happy and celebrated all my wins.
