About this deal

Italic indicates a move that gets STAB only when used by an evolution or an alternate form of Crocalor They move in groups of a few individuals. A female is often the leader of the group, and the males will gather food.

Sandile is only found in deserts, with the exception of Alola, where the warm environment is comfortable enough for them to appear elsewhere. It usually burrows under the surface of the sand, with only its nose and eyes appearing above ground. Due to being so close to the surface, it can move around the desert and allow the heat of the sand to regulate its body temperature. This also serves as a way of hiding from enemies. Its movement through sand has been described as being similar to swimming. When the sun sets, it burrows deep into the sand to sleep until sunrise. As seen in the anime, in the wild, Sandile can be mischievous and potentially troublesome to humans. However, Sandile will protect another of its species, and can be caring at times. Sandile is an ambush predator, hiding under the sand and waiting for unwary prey, such as Trapinch, to walk over it before it bites on their legs. However, Sandile is not very skilled at hunting prey, thus it also mostly eats anything that collapses in the desert; hence it has been known as "the cleaner of the desert." The user lashes out to vent its frustration toward the target. If the user's stats were lowered during this turn, the power of this move is doubled. The user yells as if it's ranting about something, which lowers the Sp. Atk stats of opposing Pokémon. Atop Crocalor's head is an orange mass of fire energy shaped like a nest, with yellow squares patterning it. This "nest" contains a yellow, glowing, egg-shaped fireball on top, borne out of Crocalor's fire energy and overflowing vitality. Crocalor can control the fireball, sending it out and using it for its moves. [1] Hogator may be a combination of 火 ho (fire), ほげー hogē (onomatopoeia for being dumbfounded), fogata (Spanish for campfire) or hoguera (Spanish for bonfire), and gator. It may also involve malagueta (type of chili pepper) or melegueta (grains of paradise; a spice). Its powerful, well-developed jaws are capable of crushing anything. Even its Trainer must be careful. The user gets revenge for a fainted ally. If an ally fainted in the previous turn, this move's power is increased. Alola, where it's warm all year round, is a comfortable environment for this Pokémon. Sometimes you'll even see it outside of deserts.

Krokorok ( Japanese: ワルビル Waruvile) is a dual-type Ground/ Dark Pokémon introduced in Generation V. Nidoking, Cubone, Marowak, Marowak, Totodile, Croconaw, Feraligatr, Larvitar, Pupitar, Tyranitar, Tyrunt, Tyrantrum

Moves learned by Krokorok

In Securing the Future!, a Trainer's Sandile joined the rest of Alola in showering Necrozma with light so it could return to its normal form. Krokorok seems to be based on a crocodile, more specifically a slender-snouted crocodile and the nile crocodile. It could also be based on the Baryonyx, a fish-eating, slender-snouted dinosaur which heavily resembled a crocodilian. Its eyes, pose, and stripes make it appear to be a criminal, which is supported by its Dark type. It could also be a reference to Sobek, a half-crocodile deity also associated with violence and even robbery. The user torments and enrages the target, making it incapable of using the same move twice in a row.

Krokorok has specialized eyes that enable it to see in the dark. This ability lets Krokorok hunt in the dead of night without getting lost. Italic indicates a move that gets STAB only when used by an evolution or an alternate form of Krokorok It moves along below the sand's surface, except for its nose and eyes. A dark membrane shields its eyes from the sun. In Battle Royal 151!, a Trainer's Sandile competed in the Battle Royal preliminary round of the Manalo Conference but ended up losing. A column of fire hits the target. When used with its grass counterpart, this move's power is boosted and a vast sea of fire appears. The user snares the target with grass and trips it. The heavier the target, the greater the move's power.
