As a pre-styler, it helps to protect the hair from heat and adds environmental projection, such as UV and humidity resistance. For me it usually only take 5-7 sprays for an optimal finish so I can spread it evenly throughout all my hair. The liquid texture allows for versatility, so you can mould and sculpt your locks until you achieve the style you want. These include; New Zealand tea tree to unclog hair follicles, soothe the scalp and nourish the roots. Additionally, if you use too much or if you don’t suffer from greasy hair, you may find this tonic a bit drying.

There are 7 products in the range, scalp purifying shampoo, invigorating conditioner, grooming cream, sculpting pomade, deconstructor, max wax and thickening tonic – as a hair product junkie I was excited to try the new range and see how it compared against some of my favourite hair products and a number of other label. this may not be ideal for you, because, it is primarily just a pre-styler, so most users will still need to purchase another product to achieve the desired style.

For most people this wont be a daily driver, it’s more of a product that’s nice to have if you’re willing to spend the extra money. It’s one of the few products that has allowed me to replicate that beachy/natural look and feel due to its great matte texture.

Things I've used are the Label M Thickening Tonic, worked best so far, but I would like to find something different cause my hair just takes long to stay as I want it to and that might change with a better thing. It locks in more moisture, offers slightly better humidity resistance, and is more effective at taming frizzy hair. It helps to prevent me from having too apply too much post styling product, which might what my hair down or make it look less natural. So it’s nice to have, if you’re willing to spend the extra money, but not something you can solely depend on.
